Dear Parents,

We had a wonderful first week of school.  It was a pleasure getting to know the students.  This week we will begin reading and language arts groups.  Get ready to hear about your child’s new teachers!

If you filled out any of the parent packet forms, I would like to thank you for taking that time out of your schedule.  If you filled out the volunteer sheet I will be contacting you soon.  Furthermore, if you provided your email address be on the lookout for a test message.

Hello 3rd grade class of 2009/2010!  Please have fun looking around the website.  You may enjoy learning more about me, checking out the classroom tour here, looking in the archives (pictures from last year), as well as watching the video last year’s class made just for you!

We will be using this website all year long.  On it you will find math games to help you study, links to sites about the science fair, copies of the homework pages (including reading logs) and so much more!  The BEST thing about our classroom website (according to last year’s 3rd graders) is that you can share pictures, videos, and projects with your family at home. 

This is going to be an awesome year!  Parents, after reading the classroom policies, feel free to email, call, or visit me with any questions.
